The Pictet Group has announced the appointment of Michael Duss as Head of Zone for French-speaking Switzerland at Pictet Wealth Management
Michael Duss has close to 20 years’ experience in wealth management and joined Pictet Wealth Management in 2022 as head of the Lausanne office. Carl Martinet will take over this role with effect from 1 July 2026. Previously, Michael Duss held several senior management roles at UBS, including head of global family office and UHNW for French-speaking Switzerland, as well as positions as senior relationship manager and M&A transaction manager. He also worked as a fund manager at Lombard Odier.
This appointment is in line with the Group’s strategy. Michael Duss will report directly to François Pictet, Managing Partner. In his new role, Michael Duss will be based in Geneva. He will continue to drive business development in French-speaking Switzerland, a longtime strategic hub for Pictet, while contributing to the growth and evolution of the firm’s activities in the region. He will focus on strengthening relationships with key clients and driving the continued growth of Pictet’s business in an ever-changing environment.
