The Pictet European Direct Lending strategy is pleased to announce its investment into Liciel Environnement. The transaction represents its first investment in France through the newly launched lower mid-market-focussed direct lending strategy.
Founded in 2007 and based in Nantes, France, Liciel Environnement is a leading provider of software solutions to property energy diagnosticians in France, including larger groups and independents. Over the years, Liciel Environnement has developed a full suite of solutions for property diagnostics alongside complementary CRM and back-office solutions. It has established itself as the preferred solution for diagnosticians in their day-to-day tasks, enhancing their productivity and constantly upgraded to comply with ongoing regulation.
We are extremely excited by the opportunity to back Mickaël and his team in their acquisition of Liciel and support the transition of the business from a leading diagnostics tool to an energy transition champion.
The buyout is backed by Enersweet, the investment holding company of Mickaël Cabrol, a highly successful French entrepreneur with a strong track record in the software industry.
