About
PTPE Technology III is the third vintage of Pictet’s thematic private equity franchise dedicated to the Technology segments. The fund capitalizes on the strong performance of its predecessor and aims to invest in top-tier and hard-to-access private equity and venture capital funds (~60%) and through co-investments in innovative and high-conviction companies (~40%).
Why invest in PTPE Technology III?
- We stand at the forefront of a profound technological transformation driven by AI. AI adoption and monetization is accelerating faster than any prior shift in technology, and it is just beginning.
- Private markets are the primary area for capturing innovation and unlocking value across the technology landscape and are valuable complement to public markets for technology exposure. Public markets (Mag-7) are only the tip of the iceberg, while there are 10,000+ companies in the private universe that provide access to innovation, hypergrowth and active value creation potential. Private companies are also staying private for longer, reaching tens of billions and even hundreds of billions in value without needing to access the public markets.
- Investing in 5 high-conviction technology segments with strong tailwinds and enabled by AI. The strategy has identified specific sub-segments of interest in the broader Technology space: Enterprise Artificial Intelligence (AI), Fintech, Cybersecurity, Consumer internet and Deep technology.
- A single investment unlocking access to transformative technology companies, curated in a thoughtful portfolio construction across stages (venture, growth and buyout), vintage years (2026-2028) and geographies (US, Europe and Asia
