Pictet's 31st office officially opens in Lisbon with Pictet Technologies Portugal
The 15 April celebration included 110 participants, including Managing Partner Sven Holstenson and Group CTO Peter Wintsch. In his speech, Sven Holstenson highlighted the significance of this milestone: "Pictet does not open offices lightly. It took us 220 years to open 30 offices, and this is the 31st Pictet office and the first one ever in Portugal. That means we truly believe in what we are doing in Portugal." He also praised the team's professionalism and joyfulness, and emphasised the importance of technology in our strategic goals for the next five years.
Pictet Technologies Portugal extends our digital capabilities from Luxembourg, aiming to employ 100 IT developers to establish a dedicated nearshoring centre led by Ricardo Coutinho. This entity enhances our tech delivery processes with agile, participative methods and aligns with the Group’s 2025 tech innovation strategy.
