First Impressions

First Impressions

How reliable are first impressions? Can a bad one be dangerous? And how much control can we have over them?

In the year 2021 our first encounters with strangers are more likely to be made in videoconferences, but the importance of making a powerful first impression certainly hasn’t gone away.

Joining us are writer Malcolm Gladwell, one of Time Magazine’s 100 most influential people, host of the top-chart podcast ‘Revisionist History’, and author of the international bestselling books The Tipping Point, Blink, Outliers, and, most recently Talking to Strangers; and Hubertus Kuelps, the Pictet Group’s Head of Group Communications.
