CHF Bonds - Index The formerly used SBI Total index has been replaced by the SBI Total AAA-BBB from 31 December 2007 onward. The SWX Swiss Bond Index AAA-BBB (SBI®) is calculated by SWX Swiss Exchange. It reflects developments in the CHF bond markets and hence in the field of interest rates. The universe of securities comprises all bonds issued in CHF (domestic and foreign borrowers) which are listed on the SWX Swiss Exchange and whose "composite rating" (blend of ratings from S&P, Moody's and Fitch and 4 major Swiss banks) is not lower than BBB. SWX Swiss ExchangeEuro Bonds - Index The "Lehman Brothers Euro Aggregate Index" contains bonds in EUR (or in ECU or foreign currency of an EMU member state), whereby consideration is given to debtor quality (at least Baa3), coupon rate (only fixed-interest debt paper) and residual duration (at least 1 year) in accordance with stock market capitalisation. International Bonds - Index The "Lehman Brothers Global Aggregate Index" comprises three sub-indices "US Aggregate", "Pan-European" and "Non-US/Euro", whereby consideration is given to debtor quality (at least Baa3), coupon rate (only fixed-interest debt paper) and residual duration (at least 1 year) in accordance with stock market capitalisation. Swiss Equities - Index The "Swiss Performance Index" (SPI) contains about 280 Swiss securities, where the stock and sector weightings corresponds to the stock market capitalisation. International Equities - Index The "Morgan Stanley Capital International World All Countries Free Index" contains international equities, including emerging markets. The country and sector weighting corresponds to world stock market capitalisation. The "Free Index" only takes into consideration the investment opportunities that are actually available to global investors. |
