Monte Rosa is a fund of private equity funds with a buyout-focused strategy. In terms of its exposure, this product will be distributed between the United States, Europe and Asia. Moreover, it will invest in opportunistic distressed- or turnaround-type strategies, as well as other niche strategies. This investment strategy is similar to the strategy Pictet & Cie has been using successfully for a number of years to manage discretionary private equity mandates.
