Omar Mirza

Omar Mirza is the Managing Director of our Institutional Business Development unit's Middle East and North Africa team, which is based in Dubai. He joined Pictet in 2007, when the Dubai office was opened to cover the MENA region. Prior to joining Pictet, Omar had accumulated 18 years of international banking and asset management experience with international banking groups in Hong Kong, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Dubai.

Omar graduated in 1986 with a degree in Economics, Statistics and History from the University of Punjab and completed a one-year International Banking Training course in Hong Kong in 1988. Omar has attended numerous training courses around the world in the past 23 years, and is a regular participant at institutional investor conferences worldwide.
