Gerrit van Gorp
 Gerrit Van Gorp joined Pictet Asset Management in 2005 and is in charge of institutional business development for Northern European markets.Before joining Pictet he was Senior Director responsible for the Credit Derivatives product at Dow Jones Indexes where he worked with institutional clients on the Dow Jones iTraxx index family and their Hedge Fund Strategy Benchmarks. He previously worked for Barclays Global Investors where he was Head of Fixed Income iShares and responsible for the first European credit bond Exchange traded funds (ETF's). He originally began his career in fixed income sales at UBS and Merrill Lynch, and later at TradeWeb, an online bond trading network. Gerrit graduated with a BA degree in Economics from St. Ignatius University of Antwerp and holds a MSc from London Business School. |
