| PAM wins major SRI award for third year running Pictet Asset Management won the SRI* Provider of the Year 2009 at a gala dinner at London’s Dorchester on 17th March 2009. This is an unprecedented third year running that Pictet Asset Management have won this award. |
The Global Pensions awards are widely acknowledged as the leading honours in the investment management industry. They are the only pension's industry service provider awards which are judged on a truly global scale.The rigorous selection process begins with a survey of Global Pensions magazine's pension fund readers., asking them to nominate service providers who they think should be recognised for their excellence. A shortlist is drawn up from all the nominations received. Each manager on the shortlist is then asked to complete a 750-word submission covering their philosophy, investment process, and distinguishing characteristics. A panel of international judges including top pension fund executives and investment consultants then reviews the submissions before making their final selection. Pictet Asset Management was chosen from among a shortlist of six leading SRI managers, including Bank Sarasin & Co., F&C Asset Management, Insight Investment, KBC Asset Management and Natixis Asset Management.
