PAM named Swiss Asset Manager of the Year for third year running

For the third year running, Pictet Asset Management was awarded first place in the category "Swiss Asset Management Firm of the Year", ahead of Earth Resources Investment Group, Lombard Odier Asset Managers, Swisscanto and Vontobel.

To decide the awards, Financial News magazine assembled a distinguished panel of more than 70 pension fund consultants, fund management executives and marketers from across Europe who voted on the nominated fund management groups in each category. What set Pictet Asset Management ahead of the other nominees were its diversification into UCITS funds with several new launches to bridge the gap between its institutional and wholesale clients' needs.

These awards aim to provide the definitive and authoritative industry view of the performance and strategy of the main players in the European institutional asset management industry.
