PAM opens fund distribution office in the Netherlands

Pictet has today inaugurated its fund distribution office in Amsterdam headed by Barbara Kos. By opening a local fund distribution office, Pictet Asset Management (PAM) can expand its presence and activity in the Dutch market. |

Laurent Ramsey, Group Managing Director and Head of Global Distribution of Pictet Asset Management, based in Geneva, said: “Despite market volatility, Pictet has shown a stable performance throughout the years. This is a direct result of our sustainable business model and conservative corporate profile. We believe there is an enduring place in the Dutch market for our approach, which is why we have decided to expand our presence in the Netherlands.”
Barbara Kos has been appointed as senior manager of Pictet Asset Management for the Dutch fund distribution market. She has extensive sales experience in the asset management field and has worked at various renowned financial institutions, such as Delta Lloyd Asset Management and Fidelity. Barbara said: ”While the current environment is challenging, Pictet Asset Management is committed to the Dutch market. With the new office in Amsterdam I believe Pictet is in a better position to service the needs of our investment clients and expand our fund business in the Netherlands”. |
