Global Pensions' SRI Provider of the Year 2008

| Pictet Asset Management has been named SRI* Provider of the Year 2008 at a gala dinner at London’s Grosvenor House on 21st February 2008. This is an unprecedented second year running that Pictet Asset Management have won this award. |
The Global Pensions awards are widely acknowledged as the leading honours in the investment management industry. A rigorous selection process begins with a poll of Global Pensions magazine’s 8,500 worldwide readership. Each manager on the shortlist is asked to complete a 750-word submission covering their philosophy, investment process, and distinguishing characteristics. A panel of judges including top pension fund executives from Europe, North America, Africa and Asia, together with investment consultants, then review the submissions before making their final selection. Pictet Asset Management was chosen from among a shortlist of six leading SRI managers, including Dexia Asset Management, F&C Management, Fortis Investments, Insight Investment, and Morley. Pictet’s continuing advance in SRI To win this award for the second consecutive year is testimony to Pictet’s growing prominence and commitment to this field. During the past year, Pictet has not only continued to gain important clients across the range of SRI mandates, including emerging equities and fixed income, but also embarked on significant initiatives in sustainability. Among these are Pictet’s sponsorship of the Carbon Disclosure Project in Switzerland, in conjunction with Ethos, the Swiss foundation with whom Pictet work closely in developing and managing sustainable investment portfolio’s. |
