Security of your assets The Bank conducts ongoing, rigorous assessment of each sub-custodian’s financial status, together with other more general economical and financial factors. All necessary action is correspondingly taken to protect your assets. To ensure consistently high standards, a dedicated network management team conducts regular visits to our sub-custodian providers to assess the ongoing quality of their service. If considered inadequate, we will not hesitate to appoint an alternative provider who meets with our required criteria. For alternative investment classes (e.g. hedge funds) we can often act in a custodial capacity and work with an extensive network of fund administrators and depositories We also provide a virtual custody service in which we can reflect for reporting, accounting and performance purposes those assets for which we are not the designated custodian. |
