Reporting Developer

Mission

Dealing with problems that arise from implementing new application functionalities and helping to resolve them. Contributing to the maintenance of existing applications.

Responsibilities

Analysing and developing computer projects in the field of reporting, actively participating in the deployment of new solutions, contributing to the maintenance of the existing banking system, as well as performing impact analysis and implementing Avaloq releases.

Project management

Analysing and estimating the cost of the project requests assigned to you. Drawing up and updating the schedule for the projects for which you will be responsible
Completing all the phases provided for in the project methodology
Delivering the projects that are assigned to you, taking into account the client's expectations (functionalities, quality, deadline and costs)

Functional analysis

Helping the appointed representatives from the business lines to identify and formulate their requirements
Carrying out functional analyses for the projects and maintenance work that are assigned to you and proposing appropriate solutions
Ensuring that the data provided in the field of reporting is coherent, writing and updating the supporting documentation

Development

Developing, configuring and customising in Avaloq the new requests assigned to you, taking into account the norms and methodologies currently in force
Maintaining the existing applications in the field of reporting and resolving production anomalies
Adapting and/or developing the configurations required for tests and putting new Avaloq releases into production

Profile

University degree in Economics or information management, or equivalent qualification
At least three years' experience in field of banking
Sound knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL
Experience in the fields of configuration, customisation and reporting required. Ideally, you will also have some knowledge of the Avaloq banking software package.
IT project management experience and PMI certification would be a definite asset.
Languages: Spoken and written French and English; knowledge of another European language (especially German) would be an asset
Must be resident in Switzerland
