Job description
Coordinating the technical team of the Pictet Funds Technology department

Responsibilities
  • Keeping track of developments, conducting code reviews and validating the technical specifications
  • Managing the construction of the architecture for all of the department’s applications
  • Participating in the drafting of technical analysis documents (object model, data model, application architecture)
  • Developing and maintaining software in Java technology (J2EE)
  • Participating in Swing and/or HTML screen prototyping
  • Contributing to the taking of applications into production
  • Participating in the resolution of incidents in production
  • Collaborating on technical projects for migrating the environments Weblogic, JDK, EJB, Oracle

Profile
  • ETS/HES diploma or equivalent qualification
  • At least four years’ experience in developing with Java technologies (J2EE)
  • Knowledge of RDBMS
  • Knowledge of Java (Java 1.5 and 1.4) and J2EE languages, primarily EJB, JDBC and Servlets, and of Swing, application servers (Weblogic 8.x and 9.x), SQL relational databases, Oracle 9.x, 10, as well as Spring (IoC, MVC, WebServices, AOP, JDBC) and iBatis
  • Knowledge of browser-side technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript and Ajax (DWR, YUI) on IE 1.6 or higher and Firefox 2.x 4
  • Proficient in distributed and web-oriented architectures (load balancer, web servers, firewall, perimetric security) and communication protocols used on the Internet
  • Proficient in UML methodology
  • Proficient in development environments (Eclipse, SQL Navigator)
  • Knowledge of configuration management tools (CVS, ANT)
  • Knowledge of API Documentum
  • Proficient in middleware architectures (MOM, ESB, SOA)
  • English and French required
  • Must be resident in Switzerland
