Business Analyst

Business line: IT Operations Division
Team: Core Banking & Trading Applications
Location: Geneva
Activity rate: 100%
 
Mission
Management and progressive maintenance of static client and counterparty data within our Avaloq banking software package, based on users' needs. Active participation in rolling out new versions of this software.

Responsibilities
Project-related activities:

  • To act as the point of contact for users, responding to their needs and requests for improvements. Involvement in formulating the needs expressed by clients and drafting the functional specifications
  • Analysing and costing project requests, as well as ensuring the implementation and execution of the various phases and compliance with the conditions set in terms of costs, deadlines and quality
  • Ensuring the coherence of the existing model and setting the parameters (OMD)
  • As part of the production and progressive maintenance phases: setting up test scenarios (non-regression and progressive) and carrying out testing (unit and integration tests) in the various environments
  • Co-ordinating releases

User support:

  • Providing support to users to meet their improvement needs and requests
  • Assisting users during quality testing phases

Production support:

  • Taking responsibility for, documenting and analysing production incidents Coordinating incident follow-up to ensure that the incidents are resolved

Profile
  • University degree in Economics or Information Management, or equivalent qualification
  • At least three years' experience in banking or in IT project management
  • Sound knowledge of jobs in private banking, especially in the area of static data
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and Oracle databases; experience of Avaloq software would be a plus
  • Spoken and written French and English; German an asset
  • Must be resident in Switzerland
