Messaging Analyst Developer

Business line: IT Operations Division
Team: Core Banking & Trading Applications

Mission

Carrying out analyses of and developments with interbank messaging and compensation applications (SIC, ESIC, SWIFT and SECOM). Being actively involved in implementing new application functionalities and maintaining existing applications.

Carrying out impact analyses connected to Avaloq and SIC, ESIC, SWIFT and SECOM deployment releases.

Responsibilities

Project management

Analysing and costing project requests assigned
Preparing and updating detailed planning for projects that fall within the incumbent's remit
Completing all the phases provided for in the project methodology
Ensuring that the validation and discharge stages are correctly implemented and invoiced, both with suppliers (internal or external, products or services) and also with the requester and IT Production
Delivering the projects assigned in line with client expectations (i.e. by respecting demands made with regard to functionalities, quality, deadlines and cost)
Motivating and advising the human resources allocated for the projects that fall within the incumbent's remit

Functional analysis

Carrying out functional analyses for the projects and maintenance work that are assigned and proposing appropriate solutions
Helping the appointed representatives from the business lines to identify and formulate their requirements

Development

Developing and customising and configuring in Avaloq the functionalities for the projects and requests covered by the post during development maintenance and Avaloq, SIC, ESIC and SECOM releases and correcting production anomalies as they occur

Profile

University degree in Economics or information management, or equivalent qualification
More than three years' experience with SIC, ESIC, SWIFT and SECOM messaging and compensation – both cash and securities
IT project management experience, PMI certification or equivalent would be a plus
Knowledge of Avaloq desirable, especially with configuring and customising
Spoken and written French and English; German would be a plus
Must be resident in Switzerland
