Into the 21st century
| The 21st century began with a period of unprecedented growth for the Pictet Group. |
GROWTH IN BUSINESS AND WORKFORCE
From 1,800 people at the start of the new millennium, the number of employees reached 2,700 by the year 2007, with assets under management and administration exceeding CHF 430 billion. This strong growth is accompanied by an increasing number of institutions among the clientele: institutional investors from all over the world – mainly pension funds – continue to choose Pictet & Cie for management of their assets or administration of their securities deposits. Assets from institutional clients now account for around half of the assets deposited. |

| |
WORLDWIDE EXPANSION AND CONSOLIDATION
Pictet & Cie is continuing its international expansion, offering financial services and investment solutions from a global network of offices in Geneva, Zurich, Lausanne, London, Luxembourg, Frankfurt, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Turin, Milan, Rome, Florence, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Montreal and Nassau. |

OUR GOAL
To ensure we can continue to concentrate, at all times, on our clients' specific needs, we believe it is important to continue growing organically, without resorting to mergers or acquisitions. This strategy, a rarity in today's world, will enable us to maintain and perpetuate the values we hold dear. Our independence, our search for excellence, our integrity and our respect for others form the founding principles of our corporate culture. This will allow us to continue our expansion without losing sight of our traditions and without breaking with the Bank's sense of continuity. It is our values that form the cohesive force among all our various businesses and the entities of our international network, setting us apart from the rest. |
