The Markets in Financial Instruments Directive ("MiFID") entered into force on 1 November 2007. MiFID led to a major re-write of the FSA's Conduct of Business rules which apply to investment firms, such as Pictet Asset Management Limited which is based in the UK. Pictet Asset Management, the institutional arm of the Pictet Group, provided its clients with information on the implications of the changes.
